Walt Disney World Package Terms and Conditions

Deposit and Payment Procedures:
 

If your reservation is made 31 or more days prior to arrival, a deposit of $200 per reservation will be required and must be received by the Walt Disney Travel Company, Inc. (aka "Disney") within 3 days of placing the reservation on a complimentary hold. If not received, the reservation will be cancelled automatically. 

  • Travel Insurance:

If you are purchasing travel insurance with your package, the total amount of the travel insurance will be due at the time of booking. This is non-refundable.

  • Airfare:

If your package includes airfare, that is payable in full, at the time of booking. Airfare is non-refundable.
 

  • Payment is due, in full, to the Walt Disney Travel Company, Inc. 30 days prior to guest arrival. 

  • If your booking is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, payment is due in full, to the Walt Disney Travel Company, Inc. at the time of booking.

Cancellation Penalties:
If you are 30 or more days before arrival: You will receive a full refund on the cost of your Walt Disney World vacation package. But keep in mind, any extras (Airfare, Special Events tickets, etc.) are not included. Please check those for their cancellation policies.

If you are 29 - 2 days before arrival: This will incur a $200 cancellation penalty per reservation. Any other monies paid, will be refunded via the method that was used for payment. Please again keep in mind, any extras (Airfare, Special Events tickets, etc.) are not included. Please check those for their cancellation policies.

Day before, day of and day after arrival cancellations: This will incur a 100% cancellation penalty, meaning no monies paid will be refunded.


Room Only Cancellations: If you need to cancel a room only booking, it must be done at least 5 days prior to your arrival date for a full refund. If you cancel any later than 5 days before your arrival date, you will incur a one night cancellation penalty.

 

Travel InsurancePlaytime Vacations always recommends adding travel insurance to your vacation package. Hopefully you never have to use it, but it is a great investment for "just in case". 
In the event you need to cancel at the last minute or your travel get interrupted for any covered reasons (illness or injury), the travel insurance will refund the prepaid and nonrefundable travel package items, including cost of air (that is scheduled for travel within 7 days of said travel package).

Travel insurance will also cover other items during your vacation including: trip and baggage delays, baggage protection, medical expense protection (including emergency medical transportation) and trip interruption. 
The cost for travel protection is: $77.50 for adults and $5.50 for children.
